Hiring a professional product photographer is a vitaly important step in showcasing your products in the best light possible and attracting new customers.

1. What is the importance of hiring a professional product photographer?

2. How do I choose the right product photographer for my needs?

Consider their portfolio, experience with similar products, style, and client reviews. A photographer who aligns with your vision and understands your brand will be more likely to produce stunning results. Most will happily jump on the phone with you to explain their expertise and process.

3. What is the typical process for a product photography session?

My process involves:

A- We discuss your requirements over email or phone including, how you will use the photos, how many products you want photographed, how many unique scenes we will create, and/or how many concepts you want to execute. We will decide together if any additional stylists/assistants or talent is needed at the shoot.

B- I will send you a detailed proposal with a price estimate and draft contract, and we finalize a shoot date.

C- From there we plan the shoot collaboratively and finalize the shot list. Before the shoot I will send an art direction deck that details my vision for props and lighting for each shot.

D - Shoot time! You can approve images remotely or in person at my studio in Portland if you’d like.

E- Post-processing, revisions, and delivering the final images. We will work closely together at every step to ensure your vision is realized.

4. Can I send my products to your studio for photography?

Absolutely! You can either send your products to our studio, or we can arrange an on-location shoot, depending on your preference.

5. How long does a typical product photography session take?

The duration varies based on the complexity of the project. Most of my projects are 1, 2 or 3 day productions with various scenes and styled photos and/or video delivered.

6. What about product styling and props?

For many shoots I also provide the props and/or food styling for the shoot. My Studio has hundreds and props and backdrops to choose from. I'll collaborate with you to align the styling with your brand's aesthetics.

7. What can I expect in terms of post-processing and editing?

Our post-processing includes tasks such as color correction, retouching, and background enhancement. This ensures your products look polished and appealing while maintaining their authenticity.

8. How will I receive the final images?

Once the post-processing is complete, I will provide you with high-resolution digital images in the format of your choice. You can download them directly from my secure platform.

9. What if I need specific image sizes for my website and marketing materials?

We can customize the image sizes according to your requirements, ensuring they are optimized for various platforms and marketing materials.

10. How much does professional product photography cost?
